Florimania 2010

Flowers in art

12-14 March 2010

A lady arranging flowers
This year's three-day event focuses on famous works of art and their painters from various periods. The displays will adorn Mary II's Apartments over the Mothering Sunday weekend.

Inspiration for the displays will be taken from the works of artists like Monet and Van Gogh, along with more modern painters like Pollock, as well as the great Dutch flower painters of the 17th century.

There will also be flower arranging demonstrations, given by members of the National Association of Flower Arranging Societies, taking place in the Prince of Wales Apartments (off Mary II's Apartments) three times a day at:

11.30
13.30
14.30

Florimania is included in normal palace admission tickets and takes place during normal palace opening times.

Treat yourself and your loved ones to the scrumptious delights of the Tiltyard Cafe where all mothers will be treated to a free piece of cake with any purchase on Mothering Sunday (not valid in conjunction with any other offer or discount).
