The Royal School of Needlework (RSN) trains people in the art of hand embroidery to the highest standard.

The RSN offers a Certificated Course which may be studied flexibly (one day a week or in modules) and can be started at any time through the year.  The four core techniques are crewel work, canvaswork, silk shading and goldwork.

Leisure classes of 1-3 days are also offered so students may try new techniques, or explore some areas in more detail.

Further information

The RSN also occasionally provides tours of the working studio and some of the historic collection of embroidery will take place.  Advance booking is required. For more information or to make a booking, visit www.royal-needlework.org.uk.
