Programme of Events

Hampton Court has many histories and understanding the complexity of the palace can be an exciting challenge. Hampton Court’s Adult Learning programme encourages you to dig a little deeper and explore the buildings, collections and characters of the last five hundred years that continue to inspire today.

This autumn, we have a number of new events looking at Henry’s longest-serving wife, Catherine of Aragon, the splendour of Tudor apparel and the decadence of the Tudor wine fountain.

We also turn our attention to the Royal Collection artworks of Caravaggio on the 400th anniversary of his death, and we are delighted to welcome the Surveyor of the Queen’s Pictures to contribute to our understanding of a collection shaped by the personal tastes of kings and queens over five hundred years.
