The education team at Hampton Court Palace worked with two teachers from our partner school, St. John the Baptist Church of England junior school in Hampton Wick to come up with fun and interesting ways to teach shape and symmetry using patterns found at the palace.
Introduction
Each lesson consists of an adobe document made up of the lesson plan and resources for that lesson.
Power Points referred to in the lesson plan are also downloadable in ZIP format on this page.
The five lessons are designed to work together as a scheme of work and can be followed by complimentary art lesson if desired.
