Hands-on, accessible sessions for younger pupils delivered by expert presenters.

All sessions are designed for classes up to 35 children.

At home with King William III

Pupils will explore our gorgeous Baroque royal apartments, finding out how the rooms were used in the past, and investigating the kind of home that King William enjoyed.

The session especially supports literacy skills, as pupils write their comments to King William III. It also encourages chronological understanding and historical enquiry.

Tudor Times

Delve into the fascinating world of the Tudors in this fun and interactive session. Pupils will investigate materials through object handling, dress up like Tudors by making hats they can take away with them and learn a dance popular with Henry VIII.

The session especially supports chronological understanding and historical enquiry.
