How to book

Booking information for bringing an educational group to Hampton Court Palace.

We are delighted to offer reduced admission rates for education visits.

Booking in 3 easy steps


1. Consider your visit details

When would you like to visit?
Please select a first, second and third choice dates (if possible).

How many students and adults will be in your party?
For adult to student ratio requirements see visiting the palace.

Would you like to book an education session?
Sessions can accommodate up to 35 students.

Does your group have any special requirements?
We will try our best to accommodate any special needs that your group may have.

2. Make a booking

Call the education office on 020 3166 6646 or complete the online booking request form.

You may also download a fax booking form and send it to 020 3166 6655.

We can provide availability of dates and sessions, help you plan your day and discuss your group's specific needs. We can also make provisional bookings.

3. Payment

We require that your payment and completed booking form are received at least six weeks before your visit.

Cheque
Cheques should be drawn on a British bank and made payable to ‘Historic Royal Palaces’.

Credit card
For credit card payments, include name of cardholder, card number and expiry date. You may make one combined payment for entry and education sessions.

Please note we cannot accept American Express or Diner's Club cards.

BACS payment
We can accept payment by BACS. Please contact us to make arrangements.

Refunds and cancellations
We regret that no refunds can be given for cancellations made less than six weeks in advance of your visit, or for tickets purchased in advance that are not used on the day. 

If a cancellation has to be made due to exceptional circumstances, every effort will be made to reschedule your visit.

Once we've received your payment we will send you a confirmation pack that will include a voucher for two preliminary visit tickets and further information to ensure you and your group enjoy your visit.

Our regular spring visits and bookings will open later than usual on 2 March 2009 as the palace's Tudor route is being refurbished in preparation for the 500th anniversary of Henry VIII's accession to the throne.
