It is winter 1542-3; King Henry VIII has been heartbroken since the execution of his unfaithful Queen, Catherine Howard, last February. But his spirits seem to be rising at last - could there be a new romance in the offing?

All activities are costumed live interpretations unless otherwise stated.
11.00am - Don't mention Catherine Howard. Starts in Base Court.
Catch up with what has been happening at Court - and what to avoid talking about! (30 minutes.)
12.00pm - The King in Council. Starts in Base Court.
Gentlemen are invited to attend the King to discuss the political situation. (30 minutes.)
1.00pm - The Business of the Realm. Meet in the Great Watching Chamber.
Meet the King and offer your petitions, requests and gifts. (30 minutes.)
2.00pm - A Wife for the King. Starts in Base Court.
Can you work out which lady has caught the King's eye? (30 minutes.)
3.00pm - The King's couchee. Great Watching Chamber.
Attend the King as he is prepared for bed. (20 minutes.)
