Terms and conditions

1. This competition (the "Competition") is open to residents of the UK aged 16 years or over, except employees and their families of Historic Royal Palaces and Koko Digital.

2. No purchase is necessary. To enter the Competition, you will need to play the Henry VIII: heads and hearts jousting game at http://henryviiiheadsandhearts.viral-game.co.uk/?c=stf

3. You will automatically be entered into the monthly prize draw, every month, for the duration of the Competition. You may however only win one prize in total.

4. The starting date and time of the Competition is 11:00 GMT on Monday, 6 April 2009.

5. The closing date and time of the Competition is 23:59 GMT on Monday, 28 September 2009.

6. The winners will be the first entries drawn at random on the last working day of each month from April - September 2009 inclusive.

7. Historic Royal Palaces' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. 20 winners drawn from each month's draw will each receive two tickets to Hampton Court Palace.  Tickets may not be used for any other palace managed by Historic Royal Palaces and must be used by the date printed on the tickets.  

9. The prize is as stated. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes. Historic Royal Palaces accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize, including, without limitation, costs of transfers and/or travel to Hampton Court Palace, guidebooks, meals, accommodation and other living expenses and travel insurance. Prizes are not transferable.

10. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.

11. The winners will be notified by email within 14 days and will be given further details of how to receive their prize. All prizes must be claimed within 72 hours of the winner being notified. If winners do not respond to the instructions contained in the e-mail within 72 hours of the email having been sent, then that winner's prize will be re-allocated to another entrant. No responsibility is taken for notification emails that are not received for any technical or other reason.

12. Historic Royal Palaces reserves the right to select an alternative winner should the Competition entry prove invalid for any reason or should the winner not respond to contact.

13. The winners may be requested to take part in publicity. Historic Royal Palaces has the right to publish the names of all winners and their home towns on http://www.hrp.org.uk/.

14. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult when visiting Hampton Court Palace.

15. Historic Royal Palaces retains the right to refuse admission to Hampton Court Palace.

16. Historic Royal Palaces reserves the right to withdraw, amend or suspend this Competition without notice with no liability to the entrants or the winners.

17. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the liability of Historic Royal Palaces for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of their negligence.

18. Historic Royal Palaces accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize. Historic Royal Palaces further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition.

19. Koko Digital is not a participant in or sponsor of this Competition.

20. Entry into the Competition is acceptance of these terms and conditions.

21. These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
