A little history of the space…
The Queen’s Garden and its adjoining physick garden were created in 1969 to reflect the style of gardening prevalent at the end of the 17th century.
The planting uses only plants and herbs which would have found in a garden at that time. The garden also features the remarkable ‘terms’ made for Prince Frederick and Florentine sculpture.
