Capture a moment today

This is your chance to own a story from Kensington Palace’s fascinating history and to support its future. Every year from 1689 to 2012 has a story to tell about the palace and the world around it.  Through a donation of £500 to £5,000, you can own a part of Kensington’s story forever and ensure that these stories are told to thousands of people through our Welcome to Kensington – a palace for everyone project.

About the stories

There are three categories of stories and, in return for your support, you will receive an exclusive commemorative gift inspired by Kensington Palace.  Each year will be available once only.  When you support a story, it's yours, forever.

For more information or help choosing your story, please call the Development Team on 020 3166 6366 or email development@hrp.org.uk.

History happened at Kensington Palace stories are key moments in the life of the palace and the momentous events in our nation’s story that took place there.  Donors to these stories will receive a beautifully bound, original and never-before-published re-telling of your story by one of the Welcome to Kensington project Champions.  They include Sir Trevor McDonald, Lucy Worsley, Kate Williams, Alison Weir, Tracy Borman, Sarah Gristwood and Liza Picard.

Great moments in Kensington's history stories are intriguing tales of life at Kensington Palace over five centuries.  Donors who support Great moments in Kensington’s history stories will receive a limited edition print (one of only 100 to be produced) of Kensington Palace especially commissioned for Capture a moment by the artist Joe McLaren.

Moments in the world around Kensington Palace stories are your opportunity to support the palace and, if you would like to, celebrate an event that is important to you.  We have not provided a story for these years and invite you to tell us why the year is important to you. It could be the birth of a grandparent or child, the year your company was established or any anniversary or event that you would like to celebrate.  Donors to Moments in the world around Kensington Palace stories will receive a monochrome print of Joe McLaren's illustration of the palace.
