Facilities
Baby changing facilities are available.
Cloakroom
The new Kensington Palace has a dedicated cloakroom.
Footwear
Visits to Kensington Palace involve plenty of walking so please wear comfortable shoes. Please note that Heelys cannot be used inside the palace.
Pushchairs and buggies
Pushchairs and buggies can be more easily taken around the palace as we have a new lift to all floors for the first time. They may be left at your own risk in the new Cloakroom.
The great outdoors
Extra care should be taken in the palace gardens, especially if they contain water features. Please do not allow children to touch or eat the plants as they may be harmful. Also, treat the swans and geese with caution; they are wild birds and should not be approached or fed.
The use of balls, bicycles, scooters and rollerblades is not permitted within any part of the gardens. Please see the park regulations at the entrance to the grounds for further details.
First aid or lost children
Please approach the nearest member of palace staff if you require first aid assistance or have lost a child.
