Useful information to help you plan your family visit to Kew Palace

From 28 March 2013, visit Kew Gardens and visit Kew Palace at no extra charge!

Cloakroom
Kew Palace is not able to offer any cloakroom/left luggage facilities.

Footwear
Visits include plenty of walking on uneven surfaces. Please wear comfortable shoes, Heelys should not be used inside the palace.

Pushchairs and buggies
Pushchairs or buggies may be taken around the palace. Please speak to a warder if you wish to use the lift that we have for anyone unable to manage the stairs.

Seating and rest areas
Inside the palace, there are places to sit, either benches or window seats. There are also benches outside in the gardens.

First aid or lost children
Please approach the nearest member of staff if you require first aid assistance or have lost a child.

Food and drink

Relax at the beautiful Orangery* near the palace

Enjoy seasonal dishes in this elegant Grade I listed building. Children are welcome and the Orangery offers special children's meals. You can eat al fresco on the terrace or inside this stunningly light and airy building. Find out more here >
