Historic Royal Palaces has a huge task to care for the palaces and give them a future as long and valuable as their past. To learn more about how we do this we have developed a learning programme; Conservation in Focus; bringing our palaces to life!
As leader in education within the Heritage sector, Conservation in Focus broadens learning beyond history and into conservation, science, design & technology, art and archaeology through formal and informal learning. It gives students an opportunity to get a look behind the scenes.
Conservation in Focus offers learning opportunities that support the national curriculum, inspire and interest young people in career prospects in conservation through learning activities, offering opportunities for students to meet a range of professionals within the industry and provides apprenticeships alongside HRP conservation projects.
