As with any motivation or incentive tool, the carrot needs to be worth pursuing.  Using the unique Royal Pass your incentive or tour itinerary can be enhanced in a cost effective and attractive manner.
This exclusive pass cannot be purchased at the palaces and its attractive design makes it a collectable for any visitor.  It allows queue jumping benefits and is undated, thus allowing your programme to be as flexible as your clients are demanding.
Why not use it in a royal treasure trail?  Why not link it to a quiz as a teaser prior to your unforgettable trip to London?
Historic Royal Palaces have centuries of stories and intrigues for your customers to unveil and we can help you make the most of it.

3. New website prepares to go live on WWW!

You will be familiar by now with our striking new visual identity and Cause, and we are really excited about our latest product to undergo transformation - our website at www.hrp.org.uk. New features will include catering menus, an interactive what’s on calendar and downloadable maps and plans of the palaces - great for preparing your itinerary and group visits.
The first phase of the new website will be live online by the end of March 2007. Two more phases will follow later this year, including the new ecommerce site. Watch this space!

4. The Triumphs of Caesar – new!

One of the largest series of Renaissance canvases outside Italy, The Triumphs of Caesar, a series of nine paintings by Andrea Mantegna, are redisplayed at Hampton Court Palace and depict Julius Caesar on a triumphal chariot returning from his successful campaigns. Considered to be some of the most important Italian Renaissance paintings in the world, they were described as ‘the best thing Mantegna ever painted’  in the 16th century, and their status as masterpieces has remained unchallenged ever since.

5. Lower Orangery Garden

Work has begun on restoring the Lower Orangery Garden, re-introducing a method and style of garden display which was pioneered at Hampton Court Palace over 300 years ago. These exotic plants in their beautiful containers, set within their original garden setting, will provide visitors with a unique experience as well as pay tribute to William III and Mary II as two of England’s greatest horticulturalists.

6. First Female Yeoman Warder

Summer 2007 will see the Tower of London welcoming its first female Yeoman Warder (Beefeater). 42-year-old Moira Cameron, a Warrant Officer Class 2, is currently serving in HQ 145 (HC) Brigade. After the intense training she’ll be ready in uniform to take her first tour in September 2007.

7. Corporate gifts catalogue - new!

Giving your guests a unique and sometimes surprising corporate gift can be a gesture they won’t forget. Our new corporate gifts catalogue shows just some of the products that will delight your guests but we can also tailor our service to your individual special requests. For a copy of the catalogue or to discuss the options, contact corpgifts@hrp.org.uk or call +44 (0) 870 757 7466.

8. Corporate Functions brochures – new!

Over hundreds of years, the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, the Banqueting House, Kensington Palace and Kew Palace have provided the backdrop to glittering banquets, fabulous celebrations and splendid royal weddings. Today a newly-launched suite of brochures inspires clients looking for unique venues for their own prestigious events, giving a new flavour of each palace plus information about Weddings and Meetings and Conferences. Each of the eight new brochures features stunning photography and detailed information about capacity and locations.

Historic Royal Palaces is the independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, the Banqueting House, Kensington Palace and Kew Palace.  We help everyone explore the story of how monarchs and people have shaped society, in some of the greatest palaces ever built.

We receive no funding from the Government or the Crown, so we depend on the support of our visitors, members, donors, volunteers and sponsors.

These palaces are owned by The Queen on behalf of the nation, and we manage them for the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport.

We believe in four principles:

Guardianship: giving these palaces a future as long and valuable as their past.
Discovery: encouraging people to make links with their own lives and today’s world.
Showmanship: doing everything with panache.
Independence: having our own point of view and finding new ways to do our work.
