Dawn Austwick is Chief Executive of the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, one of the UK's largest independent grant-making trusts which allocates around £25million a year to the UK’s cultural life, education and learning, the natural environment and to enabling disadvantaged people to participate more fully in society. Dawn has had a distinguished career in the museums and heritage sector, serving as Project Director at Tate Modern, before becoming Deputy Director of the British Museum where she was responsible for a wide range of areas including, Finance, Marketing, and Policy Formation. She is a member of the NCVO’s Funding Commission, the Board of NESTA’s lab, and the Public Interest General Council of the Office for Public Management. She is a member of the AHRC’s Audit Committee    and the Social Investment Task Force. She is a companion of the Chartered Institute of Management. In 2000 she was awarded an OBE. She has not undertaken any party political activity in the past five years.

Sue Farr is an executive Director of Chime Communications plc where she is leading the company’s strategic and business development programme. Her career started off at Thames Television where she was Director of Communications and responsible for the company’s communications strategy. From there she moved to the BBC, as its first professional marketeer where she introduced the Corporation's first cohesive marketing strategy and played a key role in the successful launches of Radio 5 Live and BBC's online services. In 2000 she left the BBC to become European Managing Director at Golin/Harris International which she subsequently left to take on the role of Director of Corporate Affairs at Vauxhall Motors. She has also served as a Non Executive Director of New Look Plc, and was the first female member of the Board. She has not undertaken any political activity in the past five years.
