RB Dec 2010 press release

Press release

There will be plenty of great activities on offer this spring at Historic Royal Palaces, whether it be a visit to our new exhibition Royal Beasts launching at the Tower in May, discovering the stories of the seven princesses at the Enchanted Palace at Kensington Palace, or indulging someone you love during Mothering Sunday weekend with our floral Florimania event at Hampton Court Palace.

We will also be offering the chance to embark on one of our unique tours this spring! Discover the delightful Kew Palace in the heart of Kew Gardens and find out its secrets and stories on a Sunday evening tour or explore the stunning Hampton Court Palace gardens after the visitors have left with a National Garden Scheme evening tour. Alternatively, take a closer look at the changes taking place at Kensington Palace during the extensive £12 million renovation project to improve the visitor experience by 2012 with a tour of the building site led by Palace Director Nigel Arch.

Use your iPhone and iPod Touch at the Tower and help four worthy virtual prisoners escape from the real locations they were held! Download our free app ‘Escape from the Tower’ before your visit or at our onsite wi-fi hotspot near the Tower shop. Complete all four missions successfully and enter your score for a chance to win free entry to all the palaces!

Don’t forget HRP membership is the most cost-effective way to visit our palaces, giving unlimited free entry to all five palaces for a whole year! Prices start at only £43.00 for individual membership! Visit www.hrp.org.uk for information about membership.
