Raven Talks

Special talks for daytime visitors to the Tower during half term

Tim Archbold cartoon of ravens at the Tower of London

This series of special talks trace the history of the Ravens at the Tower of London all the way to the present day. The Ravens are part of the Tower's rich and traditional history and continue to draw visitors to this iconic palace...

"... if they ever leave, the monarchy and the Tower itself will fall."

Learn about why ravens have presided here for centuries and how they are cared for by the Ravenmaster and his assistants. The six ravens on site are part of the Tower's community and are cared for round the clock by a dedicated team of staff. You'll also be introduced to the ravens and their habitats here at the Tower and learn many fascinating facts and stories!

Join us for this unique opportunity to get acquainted with these fascinating creatures and meet those who care for them daily at the Tower of London.
