Archaeology & Discovery Weekend 2011
On 23 and 24 July, the annual Archaeology & Discovery Weekend took place at the Tower of London. At this free community event, the public are given access to the foreshore of the Tower, and can try their hands at being archaeologists, looking for interesting things which have washed up over the years. As part of their ‘Hands on History’ activities, BBC Learning recorded some people talking about their finds. Listen to their finds here, or have a look at the photos.
