We offer workshops on customer service and marketing to inspire leisure, travel, tourism and business students.

Customer Service
In this hour long session students will cover the following:
  • Who are Historic Royal Palaces? The organisational structure and our mission statement.
  • A brief history of the Tower of London. Why was it built where it is?
  • How has the Tower of London developed into the tourist attraction that it is today?
  • Who are our visitors?
  • How do we meet the needs of our customers?
  • Our staff and their training
  • The compliments and complaints procedure

Marketing
In this hour long session students will cover the following:

  • Who are Historic Royal Palaces? The organisational structure and our mission statement.

  • How has the Tower of London developed into the tourist attraction that it is today?

  • Our challenge
  • Case study - Historic Royal Palaces' identity project

During this session students will also be provided with information they can use to explore the Tower of London's marketing mix.
