The Tower of London welcomes all visitors and hopes to make everyone's day out enjoyable

The Waterloo Block, Tower of London

Visitors with mobility needs

Whilst the Tower welcomes all visitors, this historic building has places with difficult stairs and passageways and wheelchair access is limited. There are also a large number of steps throughout the Tower with cobbles laid in some of the roads. However, the Jewel House and the Crown Jewels are fully accessible to all visitors.

Toilets: Easy ramped access is available behind the Jewel House.

Wheelchairs: A limited number of wheelchairs are available from the Welcome Centre at the main entrance to the Tower.

Visitors with visual difficulties

The Crown Jewels: Information in Braille and tactile models of the Crown Jewels are available.

Deaf or hard-of-hearing visitors

Induction loops are provided at various points in the Tower wherever you see the icon.

Concession for disabled visitors

Visitors with a disability are eligible for admission at the concession rate. Their carers are given entry free of charge.
