Hands on History
All year round in the White Tower
Tighten your grip on ten centuries of Tower history.
Do you have what it takes to handle a sword like a
Tudor master or to shoot an arrow from a legendary English longbow?
What was it like to stare through a medieval helmet and face your enemy in battle?
Hands on History at the Tower of London takes you up close and personal, literally letting you get to grips with defence and attack over the centuries and handle items including swords and armour inspired by the Royal Armouries’ collection.
The Hands on History exhibition, located on the second floor of the White Tower, features dozens of interactive displays for both young and old to enjoy.
Presented by the Royal Armouries and Historic Royal Palaces with the generous support of The History Channel and The Royal Mint.
