Who are Historic Royal Palaces?
Historic Royal Palaces is an independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, the Banqueting House, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle. Although the palaces are owned by The Queen on behalf of the nation, we receive no funding from the Government or the Crown, so we depend on the support of our visitors, members, donors, volunteers and sponsors. Where does the money go?
Historic Royal Palaces work to give the palaces a future as valuable as their past, while telling their stories in a way which encourages our visitors to find links with their own lives and the world today. Our donors, sponsors and members share our passion for history, spectacle and majesty and many of our most ambitious projects would not have been accomplished without their generosity and participation. Do you offer discounts for groups?
We offer substantial savings on admissions, great value offers and special interest tours at each palace. Group prices and conditions apply for visits of 15 people or more at the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Banqueting House, Kensington Palace and for visits of ten or more at Kew Palace.

Can I hold an event, such as a wedding or conference, at one of the palaces?

Can I purchase or hire images of the palaces?
Yes. Images are available for sale from our Photographic Library. Our Photo library contains over 100,000 images of London’s finest palaces. You can rely on our picture researchers’ in-depth knowledge of the collection, and their willingness to help you select just the right images.
