What we do

Four principles guide our experts' work

We are responsible for conserving the five historic royal palaces and an amazing historical collection. We put on great shows and encourage people to discover the palaces for themselves. And we have to raise all the money to do it.

Accessibility Plan at Hampton Court Palace
Click here to view a consultation draft of the Accessibility Plan for Hampton Court Palace.  This has been prepared in liaison with Historic Royal Palaces by Montagu Evans and Alan Baxter Associates.

The purpose of the Plan is to bring together and build upon the historical work undertaken by Historic Royal Palaces over the last few years, which has resulted in the production of a suite of Conservation Management Strategies and Travel Plans.  Looking to the future, the objective of the Plan is to promote more sustainable access to Hampton Court Palace in a way that enhances the heritage asset and public interest.

As part of the public consultation exercise on this Plan, your views are cordially invited. We would like to thank you in advance for any comments you have on the consultation draft and ask that these are sent to hamptoncourtpalace@montagu-evans.co.uk or for the attention of Chris Miele at Clarges House, 6 - 12 Clarges Street, London, W1J 8HB.  Please provide any comments by 9 July 2010.
