Six creative sessions
This project saw a group of young people, some of whom had learning and social difficulties, take parting a mix of creative activities inspired by stories of Kensington Palace. From fashion illustration to photography, mask making to music, the young people worked with professional artists over six weeks to create a body of work which showed their interpretation of Kensington Palace.
This project proved so successful that they same group of young people went on to make a film about textile conservation which was then shown in the palace for several weeks as conservators worked on embroideries in the Presence Chamber.
