Our books
Historic Royal Palaces has published dozens of titles since becoming a charity in 1998.
Our palace guidebooks capture the essence of each site in a colourful, high-value publication that makes a fantastic souvenir for visitors.
A longer, and larger, illustrated history format provides even more information and stories, along with beautiful, full-colour illustration and photography.
Our children’s books have proven popular; they are written by education consultant Elizabeth Newbury, and wonderfully illustrated by Tim Archbold.
We also publish books to accompany exhibitions and events taking place at the palaces, as well as the latest research about the palaces.
All our books are sold at the palaces and online. Browse the online shop >

Along with exterior and interior views of the five palaces and images of the palaces' extensive gardens we also offer photography of palace collections, including the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection at Kensington Palace and the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London.
