Induction

Every new employee will benefit from our excellent induction programme.  Right from the start you and your manager will also agree a tailored personal development plan.

This plan will cover how you will develop your skills and knowledge in order to carry out your role as well as getting to know the organisation. You will also be assigned a ‘buddy’ to help you settle into the organisation.

Qualifications

We encourage employees to work towards professional and vocational qualifications. For qualifications that are job related we will also consider giving financial support and study leave.

Learning opportunities

People development

We encourage all of our employees to take advantage of the wide range of learning opportunities that we offer e.g. development workshops, being part of project teams, job shadowing, networking  and one-to-one coaching etc.

Leadership skills

Historic Royal Palaces believes passionately in developing its managers. Our leadership development programme is designed to help managers better understand their own performance in relation to the leadership behaviours expected of them.
