Architectural fixtures

The architectural fixtures and fittings collection is a unique record of the palaces' construction and development.

Architectural fixtures and fittings collection overview

The architectural collection is an integral part of the physical history of the buildings and grounds. Many objects in this collection were the product of significant architects or craftsmen. Even fixtures and fittings featuring less decorative elements are important evidence of the life and use of the palaces.

New objects are added to the collection frequently, as buildings and rooms are changed or remodelled.
