Survey and community workshops
As a result of the last round of community consultation, local residents have set up a Stakeholder Group as a shared point of contact. The Stakeholder Group circulates information about Historic Royal Palaces’ work at the Castle as well as Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council’s plans for a Tourism Masterplan and new public realm (street surfaces and furniture) in the town. It is made up of three local residents, a representative from Historic Royal Palaces and a representative from the Council, with a facilitator from the Prince’s Foundation for Building Community.
