Christmas Musical Evenings at the Castle
Don’t miss the chance to experience an unforgettable festive evening at Hillsborough Castle this December. With viewing of the castle's State Rooms, festive drinks reception and the fabulous Cappella Caeciliana singing festive choral music in the Throne Room, it’s a majestic way to start the season.
About Cappella Caeciliana
Cappella Caeciliana will bring the magic of Christmas to Hillsborough Castle with a specially created programme of festive readings, poetry and choral music.
Cappella Caeciliana was founded on the feast of St Cecilia 1995 and has sung liturgies and concerts all over Northern Ireland as well as in Italy, Germany, Austria and USA.
They have performed on many occasions for BBC Radio 3, Radio 4 and Radio Ulster and on BBC and ITV television. The choir has performed works by Handel and Faure with the Ulster Orchestra, Bach Cantatas in Dublin with the Orchestra of St Cecilia and works by Vivaldi, Pergolesi and Mozart with orchestral forces in Belfast.
This event is now sold out, but we have plenty more Christmas events.
