How to book

We are now taking bookings up to February 2014. We are currently re-designing our programme to further enhance our offer for school visits by developing new sessions and teaching resources for the classroom and onsite. We hope to give you more details about these plans and to open up booking opportunities for the second half of the spring term 2014 soon.

Booking in 3 easy steps...


1. Consider your visit details


When would you like to visit?
Please select first, second and third choice dates (if possible). Please be aware that dates can sell out a long time in advance - please do book as early as possible.
How many students and adults will be in your party?
Minimum adult to student ratios:
Age 6 yrs and under:  1:5
Age 7 to 16 yrs:  1:10

Teachers and adults fulfilling these ratios are admitted free of charge. Charges for additional adults apply.
Would you like to book an education session?
Sessions can accommodate up to 35 students. Note that sessions are not always available in the first and last weeks of term.

Does your group have any special requirements? We will try our best to accommodate any special needs that your group may have.


2. Make a booking


By phone:
Call the education administration office on 020 3166 6646.
By fax: 
At peak times our phone line can get very busy, so you may wish to download and complete the fax booking form and send it to 020 3166 6655.

Or you may wish to email the office with your preferred date and number of pupils at kensingtoneducation@hrp.org.uk
Alternatively complete and submit the online booking request form


3. Payment


After receiving your booking information we will send you a proforma invoice.

We require payment at least six weeks before your visit. After paying you'll receive a confirmation pack of planning information, including risk assessments, and a voucher for preliminary visit tickets. Any extra tickets must be purchased on the day at standard group rates.  
Payment options

Cheque
Cheques should be drawn on a British bank and made payable to ‘Historic Royal Palaces’.

Credit card
For credit card payments, include name of cardholder, card number, expiry date and security code (last 3 numbers on the back of the card). You may make one combined payment for entry and education sessions.

Please note we cannot accept American Express or Diner's Club cards.

BACS payment
We can accept payment by BACS. Please contact us to make arrangements.
Refunds and cancellations
We regret that no refunds can be given for cancellations made less than six weeks in advance of your visit, nor for tickets purchased in advance that are not used on the day. 

If a cancellation has to be made due to exceptional circumstances, every effort will be made to reschedule your visit.
