When would you like to visit?
Where possible, select first, second and third choice dates. Please be aware that dates will sell out a long time in advance so start planning your trip as early as possible.

How many students and adults will be in your party?
Minimum adult to student ratios:
- Age 6 yrs and under: 1:5
- Age 7 to 18 yrs: 1:10
Teachers and adults fulfilling these ratios are admitted free of charge. Charges for additional adults apply.
Would you like to book an education session?
Sessions can accommodate up to 30 students. Please choose your preferred sessions from the information on our
sessions for schools pages. Note that sessions are not always available in the first and last weeks of term.
If you would like to book a last minute (less than 6 weeks in advance) session for key stages 1, 2 or 3
please check our session availability calendar by clicking here. When you have chosen an available date call us on 020 3166 6654 to discuss which sessions we are able to offer your group.

2. Make a booking

If you are an agency booking on behalf of a school group please email

3. Payment
After receiving your booking information we will send you a proforma invoice that must be paid at least six weeks before your visit. After payment is confirmed you'll receive a confirmation pack of planning information, including risk assessments, and a voucher for your preliminary visit.
Any extra tickets must be purchased on the day at standard group rates.
Payment options:
Cheque
Cheques should be drawn on a British bank and made payable to ‘Historic Royal Palaces’. Cheques should be sent to the Education Administration Office at Hampton Court Palace (address below).
Credit card
For credit card payments include your reservation number, name of cardholder, card number, security code and expiry date. You may make one combined payment for entry and education sessions. Please fax your details to the Education Administration Office at Hampton Court Palace, 0044 (0) 20 3166 6655 or phone 0044 (0) 20 3166 6646.
Please note we cannot accept American Express or Diner's Club cards.
BACS payment
We can accept payment by BACS. Please contact us (
towereducation@hrp.org.uk) to make arrangements.
Refunds and cancellations
We regret that no refunds can be given for cancellations made less than six weeks in advance of your visit, or for tickets purchased in advance that are not used on the day.
If a cancellation has to be made due to exceptional circumstances, every effort will be made to reschedule your visit.
If we cancel a session a full refund will be made.
