Key Stage 1
Teatime and Toys (Arts Award - Discover)
Get your hands on history and discover similarities and differences between children's lives now and in the past by investigating toys.
Pupils will examine what toys and household objects were used in the Victorian times. Students will look at toys Queen Victoria would have played with as a child.
Pupils will handle replica objects, plus students make their own thaumatrope to take back to school with them, and observe paintings in the palace that relate to Victoria's life.
