From Halloween happenings through to festive merriment, there’s something for everyone this autumn and winter at Historic Royal Palaces.

The Tower of London welcomes back Nightwatchers after two sold-out runs, as well as our Curious Connections talks exploring issues from historic uprisings to migration. The highlight at Kensington Palace remains the Fashion Rules: Restyled exhibition, an in-depth look at royal dressing from the 1940s until the ‘90s, as told through the wardrobes of Diana, Princess of Wales, Princess Margaret and HM The Queen. Over at Hampton Court Palace, the ghost tours return for another season of spooktacular fun!

Fashion Rules: Restyled Kensington Palace

Fashion Rules: Restyled expands Kensington Palace’s glimpse into the era-defining fashion choices of three of modern history’s most stylish royals. From the ‘New Look’ glamour of Princess Margaret in the 1950s to the elegance of HM The Queen in the 1970s and the tailored drama of outfits created for Diana, Princess of Wales in the early 1990s, the display continues to explore how these women navigated the fashion ‘rules’ defined by their royal duties in unique style.
