USA Lecture Tour, Fall 2012

After the success of Spring 2012, we crossed the Atlantic to host a series of lectures in conjunction with the Royal Oak Foundation.

London Squares & Gardens Fit for a Queen

Monday 22nd October, Todd Longstaffe-Gowran, Landscape Historian & Gardens Adviser to Historic Royal Palaces presented 'London Squares & Gardens Fit for a Queen' to an enraptured audience at the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Washington DC.

Boston was the next stop, and a 'full house' welcomed Todd at the College Club.

Unfortunatley due to adverse weather conditions of Superstorm Sandy, the following locations for the lecture tour: Scandinavia House, New York, the Union League of Philadelphia, Philadelphia and the YALE Centre for British Art in New Haven had to be postponed.

We understand what a devistating affect the superstorm had, and we hope that our new and old American friends are safe and sound.

Historic Royal Palaces will return to the United States of America in Spring 2013, please follow the link on the right for further details.
