Patrons

Portraits of Kensington's residents

The five palaces in our care have existed for almost 1,000 years. During that time they have seen periods of peace and prosperity and splendid periods of building and expansion, but they also share stories of more turbulent times, of war and domestic strife, politics and revolution.

Historic Royal Palaces exists to make sure that the future of the five palaces in our care is as valuable as their past, by becoming a patron you can help us to give the palaces the care they deserve.

The money that our patrons donate goes directly towards supporting the work of our conservation and collection care teams. From delicately cleaning exquisite Tudor tapestries to scaling the walls of the Tower of London to take Medieval mortar samples. Repairing the intricate lace work on 19th century court dresses to slowing down the damage done by time and light to Georgian paintings. Our patrons support all this work and much, much more.
