About this CPD session

This fantastic CPD opportunity will take place outdoors in the historic Kitchen Garden and is suitable for all primary teachers wishing to find out more about how heritage sites can support cross-curricular learning experiences for pupils working with a range of ability and need.

Session Objectives:      

  • Understand how the outdoor spaces at historic sites can support learning across the Primary Curriculum
  • Find out how a historic site can provide the springboard for engaging pupils with Science and Art topics
  • Be inspired by the historic Kitchen Garden at Hampton Court and its stories
  • Learn practical tools and techniques for continuing learning back in the classroom following a visit.
