It is Christmas 1906 and the Palace’s grace-and-favour residents are preparing for the festive season. They are rehearsing a Christmas play which will raise funds for a local charity, but all is not going according to plan.
Some residents favour a Tudor Christmas, some a Georgian Christmas, and some a Victorian Christmas. Not surprisingly, they can’t agree!
Join them in the Great Hall as they rehearse, find out about Christmas traditions, and help them create the ‘Hampton Court Palace Christmas 1906 Pageant’.
Visit the Queen's Presence Chamber to hear some spine-tingling, festive stories from the Victorian and Edwardian eras.
