Discover stories of spooky apparitions and paranormal activity on an evening ghost tour of Hampton Court Palace.

Adult Ghost Tours (sold out)

Adult-only tours run on the following dates:

  • 03 February 2019 – 18:30 and 19:15
  • 10 February 2019 – 18:30 and 19:15
  • 17 February 2019 – 18:30 and 19:15

Tours last 1¾ to 2 hours. Doors will open 15 minutes before the start time.

Important information

Tours last up to two hours. Please ensure you have your ticket with you as you will need to show this to a Tour Host prior to the tour commencing. 

During these tours, you will spend quite a lot of time outside in courtyards and cloisters with uneven surfaces. Please dress appropriately for the weather on the night. We also advise wearing sensible footwear.

Please ensure cameras and recording equipment are turned off before the tour as no photography or recording is allowed.

Accessibility

This event is accessible to all, however due to the Historic nature of our spaces we may need to organise an alternative route within the Palace. If you have any particular access requirements, please notify us in advance.

The hall was constructed by King Henry VIII to replace a smaller and older hall on the same site. It had two functions. First to provide a great communal dining room where 600 members of the court could eat in two sittings, twice a day. And secondly, to provide a magnificent entrance to the state apartments that lay beyond.
