On Sunday 17 March 2019 the Palace Half Marathon at Hampton Court Palace is back.

The Palace Half is a flat and picturesque course which starts and finishes inside Hampton Court Palace. Running at this historic venue offers not only a perfect opportunity to run a personal best, but to visit and run inside one of the UK’s major tourist attractions.

Starting in front of Hampton Court Palace, the half marathon proceeds down Barge Walk alongside the beautiful River Thames, before crossing over Kingston Bridge.

Runners will then continue down the river on the east side before passing through Thames Ditton and re-entering Barge walk for a second time after crossing over Hampton Court Bridge.

The final stretch of the run will take you into Home Park, running through the beautiful parkland and finishing inside the Palace Gardens, with the historical Palace within touching distance of the finish line.

The course is flat, and will be a mixture of terrain.

Runners will also receive a race t-shirt and other goodies, but most importantly the big and chunky Henry VIII themed medal that the event has become renowned for. It will be a brand new medal for 2019!

This event is chip timed and accurately measured.
