We all want to meet people from history. The trouble is everyone is dead!
So it’s time to prepare yourselves for this special one hour production of Horrible Histories live on stage at Hampton Court Palace!
Could you beat battling Boudicca? Will you lose your heart or your head to Henry VIII? Can Parliament survive Gunpowder Guy? Would you stand and deliver to dastardly Dick Turpin? Escape the clutches of Burke and Hare and move to the groove with party animal, ‘quirky Queen Vicky’.
Don’t miss this horrible history of Britain with all the nasty bits left in!
The show runs for one hour and is an outdoor performance in the gardens so please dress appropriately for the weather on the day.
Please note that umbrellas and folding chairs are prohibited as they may restrict the view for other guests. There will be cushions to hire onsite for the duration of the performance. These are priced at £1.50 per cushion or four for £5. Please bring cash as cards will not be accepted.
Refreshments will be available in the performance area or feel free to bring your own picnic with you if you wish.
Please note we will go ahead with the performance in the event of bad weather, unless there are exceptional circumstances (where the safety of the audience is at risk of being compromised). We will make cancellation announcements in the morning, both through email (to those who provided an address) and via this webpage.
The Annual International Real Tennis event returns to Hampton Court to celebrate this ancient game, played by Henry VIII.
