Join us for a quiet session in The Magic Garden at Hampton Court Palace aimed at those with Autism, or those who have any other sensory needs, and their families and carers.
During this session, we will be permitting fewer people than usual and making adjustments to the experience of visiting this unique playground. We hope these changes will enable you to enjoy the Magic Garden alongside others who understand and empathise with the challenges faced when trying to plan an activity or day out.
This quiet session will last from 09:00 to 10:30.
09:00: Magic Garden session starts.
10:00: Maze opens to the public.
10:30: Session ends. The Magic Garden will remain closed to the public, to allow you to gather everything before you leave.
10:45: The Magic Garden opens to the public.
Each group member, including our valued Members and those aged under three years, must have a ticket.
Tickets will be posted with an event letter. Supporting information will be emailed.
You will be contacted following your visit and asked to complete a questionnaire in order to help us see what we can do to be more accessible and inclusive.
The Magic Garden is a unique, interactive play garden, inspired by the history and stories of Hampton Court Palace.
Built on the site of Henry VIII's former tiltyard, the garden includes a range of exciting elements for children and families to explore: from tiltyard towers and aerial walkways to a dragon, a mythical beasts' lair, a huge bejewelled crown and an underground grotto.
