Key Stage 2 | Subject: History, English (spoken language) | Topics: Tudors | Session Type: Classroom-based
Henry VIII began his reign full of fun and energy. However, the break with Rome marked a turning point in English history and a series of key events meant that Henry began to change into the obese tyrant we recognise today.
Children will develop their drama skills by acting out key events from Henry’s early life as a monarch, thinking critically and weighing evidence, to discover why the monarch changed so dramatically in later life, and the impact that this had on the country as a whole.
