Hampton Court Palace tickets
Book a ticket in advance online or purchase tickets on the day at the ticket office. Ticket prices are different for peak and off peak visits
- Peak visits: weekends, bank holidays and events
- Off peak: weekday (excluding bank holidays)
A ticket includes entry to:
- All open public areas of the palace
- The gardens, courtyards, the Maze and the Magic Garden - please check opening times.
During busy times such as school holidays and events, we advise booking online in advance. We also advise customers to check temporary route closures before booking tickets..
Dogs are not permitted within the palace gardens unless they are trained assistance dogs. This includes medical alert dogs.

Historic Royal Palaces is the self-funding charity that cares for Hampton Court Palace. We ask for an optional 10% donation towards our charitable work when you buy your ticket. You can make your donation go further by ticking the Gift Aid box when completing your purchase. Historic Royal Palaces will be able to claim an extra 25% of the value of your ticket at no extra cost to you. Thank you for supporting us.
How to get tickets you've bought online
For tickets purchased online, you can choose from the following two delivery options:
Receive tickets by email or print at home
- Download your PDF ticket to your mobile for scanning at the entrance or
- Click the link in the email that we’ll send you and print out all your tickets
If you are not able to download your e-tickets using the link in your confirmation email, please show your reference number which begins 42xxxxxxxxx to the ticket desk when you arrive and staff on site will be able to print your tickets for you.

Complimentary adult carer tickets can be obtained on the day of your visit upon presentation of proof of registered disability (such as an Access Card, Blue Badge, Freedom Pass, DLA letter or PIP letter).
Adult carer/companion tickets are also available to book online.
Only one carer ticket can be added per booking but each disabled visitor can bring one person with them free of charge as a carer/companion. If your party requires more than one carer ticket, please book your paid tickets online and email [email protected]with your booking reference number and all proof of need. We will be happy to reserve the additional carer tickets for your party at no extra cost.
£1 TICKETS FOR HAMPTON COURT PALACE
£1 tickets for a day visit to Hampton Court are available to anyone in receipt of the following:
- Universal Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Child Tax Credit
- Pension Credit
- Employment and Support Allowance
- Income Support
- Jobseeker’s Allowance
You can claim £1 tickets for up to six people per household. Only one person per household needs to show supporting documents.
Tickets must be booked online in advance to guarantee entry and avoid disappointment. Visitor numbers are limited and many dates and timeslots are sold out in advance.
If you can't find £1 tickets for the date you wish to book, this date is sold out but further dates are available.
