Taster volunteer sessions at Hampton Court Palace

If you enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Home Park at Hampton Court Palace, and you have some time spare for volunteering, please join us in Home Park for a taster volunteering session as an Estates volunteer.

Our friendly group of dedicated volunteers support the fantastic Estates team in our endeavours to care for and maintain the wonderful surroundings of Home Park, its trees and grasslands, waterways and habitats.

You will be working in Home Park in the private paddocks, coppicing alder and willow and processing the cut material for use in hedge laying and fish retreats.

Tools and guidance will be provided. Please bring gloves if possible and wear sturdy outdoor footwear.

Sessions are limited to 10 people per session, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Email [email protected] to apply, giving us your first and second choice of volunteering date/time. Depending on the number of applications, there may be the opportunity to stay for the whole day, so please let us know if you’d like to!
