Visitors to Hampton Court Palace are invited to the 2019 Graduation Showcase of the Royal School of Needlework.

Original creations from graduates of the BA (Hons) Hand Embroidery for Fashion, Interiors, Textile Art course will be on display in palace apartments not usually open to visitors. Be inspired by the variety of hand embroidery on display and the contemporary approaches to this traditional craft.

Meet the Graduates behind the work and learn how their research has been informed by the RSN’s textile collection and art library.

The Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace

The Royal School of Needlework delivers this world-renowned degree in dedicated studios at Hampton Court Palace. The course has been designed to provide a dynamic learning experience that connects individual creative practice with textile and design theory.

The Royal School of Needlework’s Embroidery Studio produces bespoke hand embroidery and gives students the opportunity to work on the high-profile commissions managed by the studio.
