About the films

The Luna Cinema at Hampton Court Palace 2019 opens with A Star is Born, starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. The film includes the incredible score Shallow, which won the 2019 Oscar for Best Original Song. This is a powerful story of love in the face of adversity.

Next is Bohemian Rhapsody, the 2018 Freddie Mercury biopic. Starring award-winning actor Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury, the film follows the singer's life from when he joined Queen in 1970 to their 1985 Live Aid performance at the former Wembley Stadium in London.

Celebrate summer with the prequel-sequel Mamma Mia Here We Go Again!, which is set after the events of the first film, and also features flashbacks to 1979, telling the story of Donna Sheridan's arrival on the island of Kalokairi and her first meetings with her daughter Sophie's three possible fathers. All to the iconic music of ABBA.

The Luna Cinema closes its visit to Hampton Court Palace with The Greatest Showman. Following last year's sell out show, join P. T. Barnum in his creation of the Barnum & Bailey Circus and the lives of its star attractions.

The perfect set films to enjoy, and sing-along to — join The Luna Cinema for a summers evening underneath the stars!
