Have you ever wondered what the Tudor’s used for toilet paper? Or why Elizabeth I always looked like she’d just seen a ghost?
Bring some long awaited family fun to home-schooling and let the kids enjoy Tudor Summer School this August.
Hear about the gross and gruesome stories of one of Britain’s most infamous families, right where it happened. Join our finest players in the magnificent palace gardens as they take to the stage for a whistle stop journey through Tudor History.
From Wolsey to Elizabeth I, divorces to diseases, excellence to excrement; our Tudor tutors are going to do their best to catch everyone up on what they missed while school’s been out… all in just 40 minutes.
Please note, the performance on 13 August at 11.30 has been cancelled, we apologise for any inconvenience.
Just like in school, our Tudor summer school has to follow certain rules designed to keep everyone safe. The performance will take place outside, seated directly on the grass, with marked-out boxes for family groups to allow for social distancing.
Guaranteed to be one lesson the kids won't want to miss!
