Enjoy an evening of Dickensian storytelling at Hillsborough Castle

Join us on a journey back to Victorian England. Ian and Matthew McEIhinney bring to life the magic of Charles Dickens' timeless tale of redemption and new beginnings in a candle lit reading from A Christmas Carol and other stories.

Throne Room with silk green damask walls, wooden floor and large rug. Two red and gold Chairs of State, or 'thrones' are situated at the far end of the room. Gold-framed paintings of landscapes adorn the walls and three large chandeliers hang above.

A view through the Throne Room through Stair Hall into the State Drawing Room. The walls are lined with rich green silk and two marble-topped tables stand either side of the open doors. Two poseur tables clothed in gold fabric frame the doorway. Each has a flower arrangement with greens, reds and yellow flowers within a gold vase, along with tealight candles. Two gold-framed landscape oil paintings also frame the doorway behind the flowers.
