Garden Explorers cart 

The cart offers a range of ‘pick & mix’ resources and activities which can be borrowed by families to help them to explore the garden, discover something new and have fun together.

Dates: Thursday 04 July - Saturday 06 July (during the Food Festival) and Monday 19 August - Friday 30 August

Georgian summer make and take

Get crafty with our artist facilitator and make something wonderful to take home. Please note that numbers are limited, and only children may make the craft. All children must be accompanied.

Dates: Monday 19 August - Friday 30 August
Times: 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 14:30, 15:30
Location: On the South Lawn
In the event of bad weather this will take place in the Clore Learning Centre. Please meet in the Stable Yard.

Hands on Hillsborough: Object handling

What will you discover at Hillsborough Castle & Gardens this August? Uncover some of the stories, characters and history for yourself by exploring some of the objects in our handling collection.

Things to see

Enter the castle grounds through this 18th-century walled garden, which has been expertly restored using traditional methods.
