Join one our expert guides as they share the history highlights of Hillsborough Castle Gardens this autumn.

Guides will lead you through the gardens, covering the history of the gardens, how they were landscaped, the people who influenced them and their design.

A garden history tour is the ideal way to begin exploring the gardens at your leisure, so grab your wellies and umbrella just in case!

Location: Meet at the Lower Visitor Centre

Each tour will have a maximum of 15 per group.

Please note:

  • The tours start and finish in the Walled Garden. Meet in Lower Visitor Centre
  • The tours may be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions
  • Hillsborough’s gardens are hilly and not all areas are fully accessible

A group of visitor enjoy a wander around the Granville Garden in the grounds of Hillsborough Castle on a warm Summers Day. The open iron gates of the garden are visible in the foregrouns and a blue clouded sky above is in start contract to the bright green of Europe's largest rhododendron, also visible behind the garden.
